What about salt crystals? Crystals are more prone to bridging and clogging. Also, pellets are more suitable for all-in-one systems and for households with medium to high water usage. If your system requires crystals, just let us know and we will provide them at no additional cost.

How do you decide? Filters with a higher MERV rating are beneficial for individuals with special needs or severe allergies; however, they restrict air flow, putting more strain the air conditioning unit. To protect your equipment, it is recommended to use filters with a lower MERV rating and change them often.

To keep you protected, changing the batteries in smoke detectors is just one consideration. Most smoke/CO2 detectors have a service life of 10 years. Missing detectors or detectors older than 10 years should be replaced as soon as possible.

Terms of Service

  • Standard pricing is applicable to typical single family homes, up to 3,500 SF. Pricing may vary for larger homes or homes with unique cirmcumstances.
  • Water softener maintenance includes up to twelve (12) forty-pound bags per year, delivered over several visits and limited to a maximum of three (3) bags per visit. Options are availible for homes that require more bags per year (see add-on pricing).
  • To offset the comparatively high cost of potassium, the base quantity has been lowered to make the plans more affordable and flexible.  The potassium upgrade includes up to six (6) bags per year, delivered over several visits and limited to a maximum of two (2) bags per visit. Options are availible for homes that require more bags per year (see add-on pricing).
  • Air conditioner filter maintenace includes up to three (3) one-inch filters per visit. Options are availible for homes that require more filters changed per visit (see add-on pricing).
  • Smoke detector battery maintenance includes changing up to six (6) 9-volt batteries in smoke/CO2 detectors. Options are availible for homes that require more detectors to be serviced (see add-on pricing).
  • Maximum service height is 12′ above the finished floor. Greater heights will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
  • Standard pricing includes Diamond Crystal Bright & Soft Salt Pellets (or equal) and HDX FPR 5 MERV 8 Air Filters (or equal). Upgrades are also available (see upgrade pricing). Note: 3M Filtrete MPR 500 MERV 5 Air Filters shall be considered equal to HDX FPR 5 MERV 8 Air Filters.
  • All pricing includes sales tax.
